Marriage & Family Therapist

Welcome!

Are you struggling with navigating a problem? Feeling disconnected in your marriage? Living in fear and anxiety, feeling hopeless, fearful, tired and weary? Do you just want personal growth and to understand how to trade unhealthy patterns for healthy ones? Do you desire to increase healthy communication with your spouse, significant other or a family member? Do you want to explore similarities and differences before you tie the knot?

I have a deep empathy to create a safe space for those experiencing fear, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or anyone who desires a safe place to grow. I would love to sit with you as we navigate the brain/heart connection. I believe Christ’s sacrifice created an opening for us all to experience healing and freedom, and I would love to walk that journey with you!

 About Katrina

I use a cognitive behavioral therapy approach, combined with biblical principles, and empathetic listening to help create a mental shift and decrease symptoms. I graduated with honors with my Masters of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Friends University. I am certified in Gottman Level One Couples Therapy, Prepare-Enrich premarital counseling, Sandtray Therapy, am Trauma-informed and Level one EMDR trained, and am a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, and the American Association of Christian Counselors.

I enjoy spending time with God in nature, hanging out with my hilarious husband and my two beautiful boys, and helping create health and wholeness in myself and others, living life abundantly the way Christ intended us all to live!
